Today's Thought

1st January 2008

10 wishes for the year 2008:

1) Good progress in dissertation writing, get it done and graudate in May -- Then, I can put "D" and "R" in front of my name! [HIGHEST PRIORITY]

2) Being active in the academic events, e.g. conference presentation (regioanl, SMT/AMS, etc...) and hope for the fellowship in Tanglewood summer program

3) Get a job; if no offer, then i must go back HK to earn $$$ for family and Gov loan payment . . . don't want to be the 1st bankrupted PhD in HK

4) Hope sth will be clear (CO or NYP?)

5) Keep going in my research and fight for publications in any media

6) Save $$$

7) Assist elder brother for his wedding in October.  Would it be possible to buy a Full-Frame DSLR and some lens for this special event?  Otherwise, using my tradtional film camera would be also very nice . . . but it seems that one more lens would be much better for such event . . . 

8) Continue to love (and even more) my beloved ones

9) More spiritual growth and theological studies

10) Keep my weight down!!!!!!!!!!!!
